PILOT FREEZE DRYERS

The LIOGAMMA freeze drier is a multifunctional equipment which may be used as a research plant for study and preservation of sensitive products deriving from biotechnology, or as a pilot plant, since it allows the reproduction of processes in all magnitudes, for the study of industrial application freeze drying curves. It allows the freeze drying of small productions for new product market research in identical conditions that the industrial equipment.

The equipment is made with top quality material and components and applying advanced techniques, backed up by our experience of over 30 years.

Compact manufacture, taking up as little room as possible in your laboratory. Side panels allowing access to all components. Low maintenance cost. Easy qualification of instruments and equipment testing.

Several safety functions and automatisms, guarantee maximum freeze drying product protection.

CARACTERISTICAS GENERALES

  • Vacuum pump with Gas-Ballast, to remove water vapour and condensable vapours from oil, during freeze drying process.
  • Refrigeration circuit refrigerated by forced air circulation in LIOGAMMA-15 and by water in LIOGAMMA-20 and 30.
  • Refrigerant gas CFC free.
  • Product freezing on trays up to -50øC.
    Tray temperature uniformity of +1 øC guaranteed by the forced circulation of the silicon fluid. Temperature range: -50øC and +80øC.
  • Thermal fluid circulation pump, with magnetic transmission, guaranteeing the airtightness of the installation.
    Pneumatic operated isolation valve between chamber and condenser.
    Condenser capacities: between 15 and 30 kg. of ice.
    Condenser temperature up to -80øC with double stage compressors.
  • Clean filter for inert gas or air intake at the end of the process.
  • Freeze drying processed load total visibility. Acrylic glass chamber door.
  • Condenser control by means of front peep-hole, during freeze drying process.
  • Quick condenser defrosting by means of water flooding.
  • Housed in cabinets with steel frame, detachable side panels, with easy access to inside for inspection.
  • Compact unit, easy to access for maintenance.
  • Made according to what is required by GMP and GLP.
  • Chamber inside without right angles and with all points easily accessible, to make cleaning process easy.
  • All parts in contact with the product are made of AISI-316 bright stainless steel.


INDICATIONS AND CONTROL:

  • Product, tray and condenser temperature digital display.
  • Digital display electronic vacuum gauge, to control vacuum in pump and chamber.
  • Temperature and vacuum graphic record for process control.
  • Freeze drying process control system with microprocessor and data display. Data input through number keyboard. Menu system operation. Real time process parameter display. Userdefined program menu. RS 232 serial connection.
  • Fully equipped, guaranteeing the necessary information for the control and research laboratory, allowing the study of industrial process sample curves.

OPTIONS:

Vacuum or controlled pressure VIAL SEALING, by means of tray shifting actuated by hydraulic piston.
ADJUSTABLE chamber tray DISTANCE, removing one of them, to allow several height vial or ampoule freeze drying.
SIDE MANIFOLD, to connect vials or microbiology tubes.
CLEAN ROOM. Chamber installation so that the load opening is located in the clean room, fitting the separating wall.
STEAM STERILISATION. Chamber and condenser sterilisation with steam at 121øC.
