LIQUID RING VACUUM PUMPS

RVS - LRVS - CRVS - KRVS Series

RVS SERIES

Main technical features

  • Absolute inlet pressures up to 33 mbar.
  • Flow rate up to 2100 m3/h.
  • Motor power from 1.5 to 55 KW.
  • Maximum gas inlet temperature: 100°C.
  • Maximum service liquid temperature: 70°C.
  • Noise level at 80 mbar: 72-79 dB (A).

Performance and advantages

  • Possibility of sucking gases and vapours, also in the presence of entrained liquids.
  • Isothermal compression of gases.
  • No lubricant in contact with pumped gases.
  • New hollow shaft coupling to make maintenance even easier and quicker.
  • No parts subject to wear.
  • Significantly reduced vibrations.
  • Reduced noise because of new patented integrated silencing device.

Fields of application

Suction of gases and vapours in various industrial sectors:

  • Chemical, pharmaceutical, food, paper, hospital, sugar, textiles and energy.
  • In the processes of concentration, drying, impregnation, plastic extrusion, degassing, extraction of non-condensable gas from condensers, autoclave sterilization.

Optional

  • Anti-cavitation devices.
  • Silenced probes for the discharge.

Special productions

Integrated packages with pumps in parallel, separating tanks, systems for automatic reintegration and cooling of the service liquid, control instruments.

PACKAGES

LRVS PUMP PACKAGES

Packages comprising pump, motor and separator.
The transmission uses belts and pulleys and is based on a patented motor swinging suspension system.

Advantages:

  • Because of the belts coupling it is possible to select the vacuum pump that operates at the best speed, so as to minimise both the overall dimensions and the operating costs.
  • Reduced load on the pump and motor bearings.
  • Possibility to maintain the tension of the belts over time.
  • Easy to replace motor with types of various shape and with various characteristics

CRVS PUMP PACKAGES

The transmission is obtained through an elastic coupling.

The pump rotates at the synchronous speed of the three-phase motor.

Advantages:

  • Easy to integrate in complex plants

KRVS PUMP UNITS

These units consist of RVS pumps with separator tank for the recirculation of the service liquid and connecting piping.

Two versions are available:

  • KRSV/P with partial recirculation of the liquid.
  • KRSV/T with total recirculation of the liquid : this version is equipped with heat exchanger.

Advantages:

  • Extremely low levels of noise and vibrations.
  • Separation of service liquid from discharged gas.
  • No contact between the cooling liquid and the pump.
  • Very easy installation, start-up, setting and maintenance.

The availability of the vacuum packages allows the plant installer to make use of a complete and independent unit, and this enables him to concentrate on the specific requirements of the plant.
