Dynavac Engineering was formally established in 1958, however its roots date back to the 1940s when one of the co-founders, Rud Browne, made the first Australian vacuum pump. In the past 30 years the company has formed strong alliances with some of the world's largest and the most respected vacuum and oil free air suppliers in the world such as Rietschle Thomas, Pedro Gil S.A, Yasunaga, Centra Vacuum Technologies and Telstar.

Dynavac also diversified into the design and manufacture of complex vacuum systems.

Dynavac is represented Australia wide, with branch offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne and represented by agents in Adelaide and Perth.
